The Bark River Knives Bravo 1.5 is a heavily requested variation of the best-selling Bravo 1. The only real difference between this and the original Bravo 1 is that the blade has been lengthened to 5.8 inches.
The added length brings a new dimension to the knife's usefulness, moving the balance forward. The Bravo 1.5 is a comfortable companion in bushcrafting, survival and general utility use. The longer blade excels at batoning.
This version of the Bravo 1.5 is made in Crucible S35VN "super steel," which has enhanced the performance of stainless-steel knives. Its edge holding is up there with any stainless, and the added toughness (by introducing Niobium to the elemental composition) really is noticeable in how the steel takes an edge and in its ease of sharpening.
