The 2016 Custom 7-Inch Blade Bowie (C) is a deep clip California-style Bowie that appeared during the Gold Rush Period of the Mid 1800s. The actual origins of the style seem to be still from Sheffield but with a much more dramatic false grind. The knives headed to California in that time frame seems to be more visual while still fitting the primary role of a quick handling fighter. As with the (A) and (B) The handle we used on all of these is the genius of Bill Moran. His style is world famous and very comfortable and functional in the hand. Each one of this “Limited Edition” of 70 knives has been 100% hand ground and hand finished.
