Benchmade Knives: 140BK Nimravus - Fixed Blade - Black Finish

I give the knife give stars, I give the sheathes 1 star. The knife is solid and 154cm is an amazing steel. It's hard to sharpen, but its worth it. I have never had an issue with rust. I have owned my Nim tantos (one full sized and one smaller version) since 2004 and 2010 respectively. The 140 model came with a plastic sheathe that broke the first month I had it while over seas. I tried contacting Benchmade and they ignored my calls. I ended up buying another sheath and went with their nylon sheath. The nylon sheath was too tight to close the snap to secure the blade. Once again contacted Benchmade and got no response. I modified the sheath and now it fits fine. The smaller Nim is great, but has a loose plastic sheath that rattles the edge against the plastic. Benchmade makes great nives well worth the money, I just wish they put as much care into the sheath. Hopefully they have fixed these issues since 2010. Maybe I just hold a grudge. Seems like they have done a better job with sheaths for the hunt series.
