Benchmade Knives: 908-161 AXIS Stryker II - Odin Heim Damasteel - AXIS Lock - Red Carbon Fiber

First of all this knife is as good as they get from Benchmade. As another reviewer noted, it's solid gold (great play on words, by the way!). My headline here is that Knives Ship Free has the original ones with the vibrant red thread carbon fiber (and the coffin box). Their photos show that in detail. You may not find them anywhere else as of this writing. Everything on this knife is perfect from the milling and finish on the scales to the anodized posts and pivot collar, to the Damasteel blade. Speaking of the Damasteel, Odin Heim translates to Odin's Eye. Odin is the one-eyed Norse mythological god that gave one of his eyes for a drink of water after a spiritual journey of fasting. So while Odin is their elite God the Stryker II with his namesake Damasteel can become an elite blade in your collection or carry rotation. It's too large for EDC but come weekends, this Gold Class will be clipped in my pocket. Thanks to KSF for getting mine shipped out promptly. It's just too cool looking to put down for even a minute.

Great knife. Red accents are great with the red & black carbon fiber. Beautiful, sharp Damasteel blade. Smooth action and solid lockup with the Axis lock. I love it!
