The iconic 940 Osborne is joined by its little brother, the 945 Mini Osborne! This more compact design maintains the same styling and unique lines that have set apart the 940 for years, now with a 2.92-inch blade of CPM-S30V. The handle scales are green anodized aluminum with an open back construction accented by purple standoffs. The classic Osborne EDC is now easier than ever to carry.

Great addition to the collection
I pretty much only review things I like. That said, this review is based solely on how many times I choose to have the Benchmade 945 in my pocket, which it turns out is a lot! Sure, this wouldn't be the only knife I would pick for a backcountry expedition (though it would probably do just fine for that in a pinch), but for an EDC option in the city, it has been pretty perfect. I have other iterations of the 940 that I love and still carry, but the smaller size and space it takes up in the pocket have really made this a go-to for me. Additionally, for my other 940's I switch out for the deep carry clip, but I don't find that necessary for this one. That little bit of forest green and purple sticking out of the pocket is very cool. Axis locks rock, and this one works just like all the rest. The blade shape is tried and true and works really well in the smaller size... I actually prefer it since I don't generally need a very large blade throughout the day. I know some don't like the trend of just making smaller versions of legendary knives, but this one seems well considered, and very well made. Recommended.
