Bark River Knives: Highland Special

We asked Mike Stewart of Bark River Knives to tell us about the Bark River Highland Special.

The Highland Special is a scaled down version of the Fox River. It was made before the Fox River, but with the intension of making the Fox River.

It is exactly the same style of the Fox River— the same tapering of the handle, same blade shape, but it is more compact and easier to carry.

The Highland Special will work extremely well for field dressing or small hunting tasks. The handle is shorter. It is a four finger handle so there is plenty of security in holding it.
