Easy to install. Great feel in hand that fills the hand more than the original scales. 4 stars because one of the screws that came with the scales stripped so I used the screws that were originally on the Benchmade scales.

While most people dislike the original handle material of the mini-grip, my main criticism was the small size of the handle. I have hands on the small side of medium and the handle of the mini always felt too small even for me. I ordered these scales mainly because they were listed as being a little thicker than the original scales. I was hoping that having a slightly thicker handle would translate into a knife that felt safer in my hand, due to having more control of the blade. Upgrading to micarta would be a welcome bonus. I wasn't disappointed with my purchase and, in fact, it exceeded my expectations. The handle actually has a swell in the middle and flares out at both ends. While these replacement scales are only slightly thicker, the subtle swells in the handle give it a wonderful feel in the hand. With the original scales, the mini-grip naturally fell into a saber/pistol grip in my hand with the back of the handle in the middle of my palm. Now with the new scales, the knife falls between a normal four finger grip and saber grip in my hand and can be easily held in either position comfortably. The swell at the end gives my pinky something to hold on to. In other words, these scales are not only a replacement for the originals, but they have a better ergonomic design as well. On top of that, they feel and look good. Compared to the picture on the website, they are more matte, and the black and grey lines have more contrast to give them that wood grain look, very classy. These scales feel good, look good, feel more ergonomic and were easy to switch out. Definitely worth the money. I'm very glad I got them. BTW. impeccable fit and finish as well.
