KERSHAW - Launch 4 - 7500BK
Kershaw has made something special for their neighbors to the south. So for you, California—and for anyone who prefers a shorter-bladed auto—this is the Launch 4. The Launch 4 sports a blade of just 1.9 inches, nice and legal. And pretty handy, too.
The blade is high-performance CPM154 steel. This powdered metallurgy steel has more uniform distribution of carbides—so it takes and holds an excellent edge, provides good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and toughness. The blade is DLC coated for an additional measure of blade protection and non-reflective good looks. Then to lighten the Launch 4’s weight, we made the handle and integrated backspacer of durable aluminum, anodized in black.
The Launch 4 opens with a push button, recessed so that it is level with the flat of the handle. This is a safety feature and makes it harder for the knives to accidentally deploy. For left-handed use, press the blade-release/lock button with your index finger instead of your thumb. The Launch 4 has a single-position pocketclip and carries tip-up.
Comply with all local, State, and Federal regulations regarding the purchase, owning, carrying, and transportation of automatic knives.

Great small auto
This little automatic is small in size but big on being a great EDC knife. Kershaw did a great job with the Launch 4. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Sweet little knife
Works very well. A drop of WD40, a bunch of "practice opening clicks," and now it's smooth as can be. It came very sharp too. My choice: remove the clip and it's smooth in my pocket. A fine tool indeed. Plus, plus: KnivesShipFree:: great service, thank you!

New EDC
I have carried Kershaw Ken Onion Chive knives for years because of the size and quick opening blade. I think that the Launch 4 will be my new EDC. Its a little heavier but very handy. I don't live in CA and could carry a larger auto but like the small size. This makes my 4th Kershaw!!
