William "Bill" Scagel was primarily known for his fixed blade knives. His folders were, likewise, inpressive. I recently had the opportunity to handle one very similar to this one.
I was so impressed that I decided to make one similar to it in our production.
We made a knife I think Mr. Scagel would be proud of.
We used ATS-34 steel to make a great blade and then had Bark River do the final grind on the knife. They are sharp as razors and ready to go in your pocket.
The knife is 3 3/8" closed with a 2.5" blade. The steel is 1/8" thick. It weighs 2.8 oz.
