The design of the Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Baldric is the compilation of many years of experience in the field carrying both large and small blades. Using a Baldric to carry your primary knife makes it easily accessible, located just below your weak side arm. Getting the knife off your belt gives you more freedom of movement without the knife digging into your ribs or getting in the way when you sit down on a log or in a vehicle. The Baldric hangs the weight of your knife from your shoulders which is extremely handy and comfortable as the Baldric moves with you during strenuous activities and keeps the knife out of the way.
By adding other components such as smaller knives or pouches, the Baldric can be a complete package of essential gear that you can quickly put on and be ready for action.
The Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Baldric is a top notch leather rig featuring fully adjustable leather straps, and a "Mounting Platform" which will accept almost any sheath you can imagine. All of the Bark River Piggyback compatible sheaths can be attached to the Baldric allowing you to customize the rig to suit your desires.

The Mounting Plate is also leather and features a lock plate to keep your sheath from slipping around on the plate so you can set up your Baldric for comfortable, accessible carry. The Mounting Platform is also set up with two sets of Piggyback compatible holes allowing you to carry a second smaller knife on the same rig.

The Straps are also leather with plenty of holes and are quite long to allow you to custom fit your Baldric regardless your size. Replacement straps are available through your dealer or direct from Sharpshooter Sheath Systems.
