The Pattadese joins Spyderco's Ethnic Series, a line of knives that pays tribute to the unique cutting tools of various cultures and adapts them into a modernized knife. Modeled on the signature folding knife of the city of Pattada, Sardinia, the distinctive design has been scales to fit conveniently in the pocket yet remain comfortable in the hand. The full-flat grind blade has been fashioned from Bohler M390 stainless steel which offers incredible wear resistance. The blade extends from a curved handle constructed on full stainless steel liners and contoured G-10 scales. The knife locks open using a sturdy liner lock, and the knife rides on a deep-carry wire clip that can be set up for right or left side carry.

I generally like larger knives 3.5” if I have a choice. 3.3 “ is okay. This knife blew me away. It is the coolest small knife I’ve ever seen . Great steel. I love M390. I don’t even buy 30v anymore, I guess I’m a snob now. But this knife blade is thin and sharp as a razor. It’s just a perfect size for a small knife and perfect for the pocket. No time at all I won’t know it’s there. Not sure what’s going to take it out of my pocket for EDC except maybe an ultratech. I’ve been eyeing but it’s $350 and I’m hesitating. It was love at first sight for this and I’m going to use it a lot. A strop or two every week and that’s all I’ll have to do to have this pocket razor it top shape.
