The Bark River Bravo 1 is the hard-use knife commissioned by and used daily by the elite Force Recon of the U.S. Marines. The LT version of the Bravo-1 is unchanged from the side view. The difference is the thickness. By reducing the steel thickness from .217” to the LT's .156 the knife is not only lighter – it slices more efficiently. The new Elmax Steel version is the first time we have offered the LT in a super stainless steel. Edge holding of Elmax with Bark River's heat treat and triple temper makes this the longest lasting edge holder in the entire Bravo line up.

With a blade thickness of .156", it's thin enough to slice well, but not so thin that you'd be afraid to use it.
