The Gameskeeper is one of the very first knives Bark River Knives ever made. It is certainly one of the most important knives they have ever made.

It is designed to handle any of the larger game animals--it is perfect for dressing out deer, elk, moose, even bear. The blade has a heavy spine and a quick taper that makes the knife perfect hunting companion. Unlike many delicate hunting knives, the Gameskeeper is made to be able to handle the most demanding camp chores as well.

Though this is a classic, it has undergone a few changes over the years.
