Bark River Knives: Special Hunting Knife - Hidden Tang
Bark River has taken the blade from the original Will & Fink late 1800s Hunting Knife and married it to the handle of the early 1900s Wade & Butcher Sheffield Boone. This combination was actually suggested to Bark River by their customers and was such a great idea that Bark River made a production run of them. The Special Hunting knife blade - with it's high grind - gives fantastic cutting geometry and the hidden tang handle of the Boone is not only very comfortable but very traditional this is a knife that is very practical and a real joy to use in the field.
