Benchmade Knives: 535GRY-1 Bugout - AXIS Lock - Ranger Green - Gray Coated CPM-S30V

Got this exact Knife several months ago from KSF. To use as an EDC. Ended up carrying (and using) it almost every day for a multitude of chores. It is light as a feather- rests almost imperceptibly in the pocket. Keeps its edge and sharpens easily. What's not to like- it's my favorite knife of a pretty large collection. I really like the black coated Blade.

Just received this knife from knivesshipfree. The bugout is just what I expected after much online researching of it. This quick review isn't really about the knife. I'm quite sure this great looking lightweight and sturdy blade will serve me well, but I really wanted to shout out the company and in particular Charles. I've called a couple of places before here and wasn't able to get someone to commit to inspect the knife before shipping it to me. I wanted some things checked like the blade centering, blade play and the grind. When I sent an email, Charles replied very quickly and was happy to inspect it. I ordered the knife, and was shocked again at how quickly the order was pulled, inspected, fulfilled and shipped. In like 30 minutes. The knife arrived at my house quickly and in great shape. All along there was super professional and nice communication from Charles. All of this over the top service while the entire nation is on lock down due to Covid-19. Without a doubt, a very good looking knife with the olive green handle, gold axis lock and flipper studs. Gray blade creates a great contrast. Utilitarian and efficient, this knife is a slicer. I immediately thought of buying a second one, it is that good. Definitely will buy another if they come out with M390, 3V, etc.
