The 537GY-1 Bailout takes weight saving and performance to a whole new level. The distinctive tanto blade has been fashioned in CPM-M4 super steel which boasts incredible hardness and edge retention. The Tungsten Grey Cerakote provides a tactical appearance and protects the blade from extra wear and staining. The slim profile pockets easily on the deep-carry clip and weighs only 2.7 ounces. The knife features an aluminum pommel with a lanyard hole and carbide glass breaker.

This is a beautiful knife. Though similar to the Bugout it comes with just the right amount of heft and M4 blade is razor sharp out of the box. It’s slim profile allows the knife to virtually disappear in your pocket. As always Knives Ship Free customer service is outstanding!

This is an outstanding and iconic knife. At less than .75 inches thick and 3 oz in weight, the knife disappears into your pocket. Benchmade were determined to fix the problems with version 1 of the Bailout and produced this gem that has grippy, matte anodized aluminum scales, no separate liners and M4 blade steel. The knife has no flex in the scales and the blade locks up rock solid. The only downside is that the blade is 3.5 inches long and might get you in trouble with the nanny state in some parts. Other than that, this knife is amazing in its simple and elegant execution... well worth the investment!
