The Livewire's CPM-MagnaCut blade is fired by a strong dual-action mechanism, and the handle's shape and texture provide plenty of grip. The knife weighs just 3 ounces and rides on a reversible deep-carry pocketclip. This model features an anodized black aluminum frame and a tanto blade in a BlackWash finish!

Kershaw Livewire 9000, CPM-Magnacut
I purchased a 9000 from KSF. Not a tanto, blade version. Thumb open and close action is excellent and requires less pressure than a BM. I understand this to be a livewire trademark Four stars because of the clip being very tight, requiring work to loosen the clip. But excellent knife steel, action, build and warranty on this knife. I will see how is holds up. Should do fine, as I am a easy user on my equipment. Shout out to Charles and all at KSF. Excellent outfit that has always exceeded expectations.
