KME Precision Knife Sharpening System
The KME Precision Knife Sharpening System comes in a large hard case that is big enough to accommodate the base and as many accessory stones as you want to add.
The cases are lined with soft foam in both the base and lid to protect your sharpener and accessories. An additional layer of stiffer foam has cut-outs for the stone carrier, stones, and oil or water bottles and holds everything securely in place when the lid is closed.
Expand your setup with more stones and leather hones, and you can easily expand the foam cutout areas to accomodate your accessories.

I'm bad at sharpening and this system works
I love knives. I am bad at sharpening knives. I did not want a motorized system and the reviews and various videos guided me to this system. So far I have only sharpened 2 knives. I thin bladed ESEE Zancudo folder in D2 and a 1/4" thick Ontario Survival knife (RAK Ranger) in 1095. I got both blades from "passably" sharp to hair shaving sharp in about an hour total, that includes learning curve. Very happy with this system. I also got the convexing rod for my BRKs, I would recommend getting the aftermarket base/stand, especially for larger knives.
