L.T. Wright Knives - Gary Wines Bushcraft Knife
Gary Wines is well-known in the U.K. and worldwide for producing knives designed for military personnel and Special Forces. Recently he's been working on a range of knives for civilian use -- specifically bushcraft, survival and hunting. As part of that effort, Gary has designed a Bushcraft knife for the U.S. market, a knife that L.T. Wright will be making in his shop.
The Gary Wines Bushcraft is designed to be a great companion on your next outing -- any outing.
With its Scandi grind, it's plenty sharp for all of your bushcrafting needs. The O1 tool steel blade is first ground to zero before a hard buff is put on the very edge to help with rolling and durability. Another great feature is a spine that's sharpened like an ice skate. (Any time you can save your edge and use the spine for chores, it's a plus.) Strike a firesteel, scrape a branch to make a tinder bundle -- the Gary Wines Bushcraft will tackle it with ease.
You'll keep a good grip on the knife, too, with bead-blasted Micarta scales attached not only mechanically but with marine-grade epoxy.
The Gary Wines Bushcraft comes with a durable handmade sheath of 8-ounce vegetable-tanned leather, double-stitched and featuring three eyelets. It also incorporates a firesteel loop.
