To meet the demands of a light yet durable knife that could withstand military service, Sal Glesser designed the Military folder. The large full-flat ground blade of CPM-S30V is paired with a large handle that offers substantial grip. The Military 2 model brings key upgrades to multiple features. The blade is now secured by their high-strength Compression Lock, the stainless steel liners are larger, and the clip is given four mounting positions for tip-up or tip-down, left- or right-hand carry.

Practical and balanced
I loved the original military model from Spyderco, and this 2nd generation only builds on what made that knife so enjoyable. The compression lock and 4-way clip were obvious demands from fans, however the enlarged choil and updated hardware add even more enjoyability to this new offering. The only drawback from the original is that this is around half an ounce heavier. More than a fair compromise if you ask me. This is my favorite Spyderco hands-down.
