The large full-flat ground blade on this model is upgraded to CPM-S110V, a remarkable stainless powdered metallurgy steel from Crucible Industries that boasts extremely high wear resistance and corrosion resistance. This is paired with dark blue G-10 scales for a signature Spyderco combination that signifies this high-performance trim. The large thumbhole in the blade makes it simple to deploy whether barehanded or in gloves. The textured G-10 scales provide just the right amount of traction, and the liner lock is accessible from the front scale thanks to a half-moon cutout. The knife rides on a tip-down pocketclip and features a large integrated lanyard tube.
