To honor and support our nation's law enforcement officers, Spyderco created the Thin Blue Line series using some of their most popular lightweight models. The scales are black FRN with bi-directional texturing, and beneath them are blue liners and a matching blue FRN backspacer. The handle houses a VG-10 blade with a full-flat grind, fully serrated edge, and blunt tip to create incredible cutting power with a safe tip for rescue situations. The blade is adorned with an engraving that reads "To Serve and Protect." A portion of this model's proceeds go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller on September 11th, 2001 by directly supporting first responders and military personnel who have sacrificed for our country.
