The Spyderco Techno 2 is the next generation of the iconic original, equipped with a sheepsfoot blade and standoff construction which replace the original’s drop point blade and backspacer. New Design
Designed by Polish custom knife maker Marcin Slysz, the first generation Techno model had tremendous strength and utility in an extremely compact package. The Techno 2 is a true successor that continues this trend but has even greater functionality and ease of maintenance than the original Techno with an added level of flare.
Blade
The blade for this knife is crafted from 3.5mm-thick CTS®XHP stainless steel. The high saber grind of the stonewashed-finished blade helps to maintain strength and ensure superior edge geometry, promoting low-friction cutting performance. Textured grooves (jimping) on the thumb ramp give the user maximum control during use.
Handle
Constructed with two solid titanium scales machined to precision from 6AL-4V titanium, the Techno 2 handle has an appealing stonewashed matte finish and a generously sized lanyard hole. A reversible deep carry pocket clip finishes off this solid, handsome, Slysz design.
